Lyrics to "True Believers" by LEVEL Stuck inside my harvard box / Behind the door the bauhaus locked / I'm wrestling with a new ideal / I'm working out the way I feel / I just came back from Cultureburg / Where I tried to learn the painted word / People there were so convinced / It's kept me thinking ever since.
  5. Nov 27,  · I don't love every song on this CD, but I do give it 5 stars. Mark King's bass tone is at it's best. He has the definitive Trace Elliot sound. As others have stated, "True Believers" has the best bass line. Period. It is infectious, and stays with you for days. "Kansas City Milkman" is another favorite. It's classic Level /5(6).

  8. My personal ranking of the Top 70 songs by british band Level As the band went through different styles in their career making a list is kind of tough. At the beginning they started with instrumental Jazz/Funk and later on they went towards 80's Pop - though they never really lost their funk flavour if you listen to their albums.
  9. Sep 09,  · True Colours really captured the experience of what Level 42 really is. Something About You left me seeing them as a Pop band (which I was into at the time), but Kansas City Milkman and True Believer (both showcases of Bassist/Vocalist Mark King's slap bass technique) heralded the entrance of something else altogether/5(5).
